Dan is originally from Louisville, Ky. From the age of 16 he has been involved in cheerleading. He started his cheerleading Career at Bullitt Central High School. Who has placed Nationally for many years. After high school Dan attended Western Kentucky University where he cheered and studied for 2 years. During that time he also worked for UCA as a instructor for summer camps. After leaving Western Kentucky he then transferred to The University of Alabama. There he cheered for the Crimson Tide. He cheered for two years for the Tide then transferred over to a assistant coaching position for the Alabama cheerleaders. After leaving Tuscaloosa he came to Madison, AL to work under Madonna Holladay for many years. There he continued to coach and work with many of the school teams in the area. After many years in Madison he then relocated to Birmingham, AL to work for ACE Cheer Company! There under the direction of Happy Hooper, Dan worked as a gym director and coach. During his time in Birmingham, Dan also assistant coached Wallace State Community College. After 2 years he then relocated back home to Louisville, Ky to be with his family. After 6 months of being home Dan was contacted to apply for the head coaching position at Bob Jones High School. After his many years of teaching he felt it was time to return the city with the athletes and families that he held so close to his heart. With a hard choice to leave his family again he decided to move back to Madison to coach Bob Jones High School. After one year living in Madison, Dan then worked with Happy Hooper to open the ACE of Huntsville location. Here he and his staff can help train all athletes in the area! Dan is AACCA Certified, USASF certified levels 1-5, and CPR certified and has been trained in the CDC Foundation's Heads Up concussion training program. He has worked and coached in the cheerleading industry for 12 years.
Ben Park "Moose"
Contact for all class questions./ Ben is originally from Trussville, Al. He started cheering right after high school for a local gym. Ben, also cheered at The University of South Alabama, a small time at The University of Louisville, and Wallace State Community College. Ben has coached at gyms such as All Star One in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, to Gems Cheer Stars in Randolph, NJ and a few others. He made his way into the ACE organization in 2013 and has loved his time with the TRIBE! Ben is also level 1-5 USASF certified in tumbling and stunts along with Heads Up concussion certified.
Alicia is a 1993 graduate of East Limestone High School. In 1998, she earned a BSN degree from UAH and continued her education to earn her Master's in Nursing Education/Clinical Nurse Specialist in 2003. She worked at Huntsville Hospital for over 10 years in the Respiratory Care and Medical Intensive Care Units, while also working as a nursing instructor for Calhoun and UAH. Alicia started cheerleading in the 7th grade at East Limestone; serving as captain and co-captain her junior and senior year. As a junior in high school, she was awarded a trip to England as a UCA All-Star Cheerleader. Alicia cheered one year at UAH on the all girl squad. She began coaching cheerleading 7 years ago at Tumblebeez, coaching Tiny-Youth age girls. She's won numerous championships at NCA, WSA, Showtyme, and Athletic Championships. She is USASF certified in levels 1-3 tumbling and stunting. She is also CPR certified. Alicia is married to Eric Johnson and they have two daughters, Allie and Emma. She loves coaching and watching young girls grow into wonderful athletes.
Liam was born and raised in Huntsville, AL. In 2005 he started cheerleading in 7th grade at Rocket City Athletics and won a National Championship ring his first year. After 2 years he decided to give up cheerleading to focus on other sports. His senior year of high school he gave up all other sports to start cheering again at Matrix All-Stars in hope of receiving a scholarship. In 2010, he received that scholarship from Rob Metcalf at Wallace State Community College for 2 years while getting his Associates Degree in General Studies. He went on to continue his cheerleading career at the University of Alabama under Brian Groeschell for another year. Liam then decided to come back home to Huntsville to finish his degree and get on as a fire fighter for the Huntsville Fire Department. Within a month of coming home he took a coaching job at High Fly. While coaching he got back on the mat one last time and competed for UAH at Jamfest Nationals. He won both the college and co-ed partner stunt divisions. He ended up leaving High Fly and started working for Dan Harrod at ACE of Huntsville. Liam has graduated EMT school, is CPR certified, also has had CDC Foundations Heads Up concussion training, and is USASF certified in levels 1-5 in tumbling and stunting.
Brittany began her college cheerleading career at Wallace State Community College where she cheered from 2010-2012. After Wallace State she transferred to The University of Alabama where she cheered from 2012-2015, and received 2 "Best All-Around" awards, as voted on by her teammates. During her time at The University of Alabama she won a UCA Division 1A National Championship. While cheering she graduated from The University of Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration. In addition to cheering in college, she cheered for The United States National Team in 2014, 2016, and 2017 where she won 3 ICU World Championships. She has previously coached at ACE of Dothan and is excited to continue to be a part of the ACE family.
Tyler has lived in the Huntsville area for about 5 years. He grew up in Arab, Alabama, which is where he was introduced to the cheerleading world. He started all-star cheerleading at the age of 12 and followed through with it until he was too old, taking a couple years off throughout the years. He has roughly 7 years of experience in tumbling, around 4 of those years being an elite level 5 tumbler in all-stars. He cheered on ACE Warriors in 2013, which was his last eligible year to cheer. He attends Wallace State Community College and also cheers for them. He is USASF certified for levels 1-3 tumbling and stunting.
